Lancaster, Pennsylvania | God Is Up to Something…Everywhere

Phill has always valued the power of prayer in his life, and he’s passionate about equipping others with prayer tools so they can experience God's presence in meaningful ways. Since attending his first Activating Prayer Cohort during the pandemic, he’s felt a clear calling to lead these cohorts annually. Not only does he love seeing others empowered in prayer, but he also deeply enjoys teaching the modules and growing in his own spiritual practice.

As a paramedic, Phill has countless opportunities to meet people in need of both physical and spiritual healing. Whether in the back of an ambulance or on a call, he’s learned to rely on God just as much as his professional training, offering comfort and prayer alongside medical care. Even his “not-yet-following-Jesus” partner has started referring patients for prayer and is opening up to spiritual conversations, which brings Phill joy and hope.

Driven by compassion, Phill has begun to see people through God’s eyes, recognizing that following Jesus’s call often requires personal sacrifice. He’s spent hours in prayer, knowing that sometimes it takes time and persistence to see lives transformed by the love of Jesus.

Through his work, Phill has witnessed remarkable Kingdom moments: healing in Jesus's name, souls restored through repentance and forgiveness, brokenness replaced by wholeness, and even fear and injury vanquished in the face of God’s power. He’s become what he playfully calls a "prayer junkie," and the more he experiences, the more he can’t get enough.

Now, he’s inviting you to join him. God is moving powerfully, everywhere we go—who will you pray for today?
