San Diego | Young Adults Activated into Mission [Video]

Something special is happening with young adults in San Diego. They are running after the Lord, hungry for something real and genuine.

Garrett was impacted by Novo’s Activating Prayer Cohort and the young adult movement happening in Dallas. It changed the way he followed Jesus—including deeper intimacy, his ability to hear God’s voice, and his understanding of his spiritual authority and the spiritual realm. When God opened a door for him to move to San Diego, he went with a passion to share with other young adults the things that had changed his walk with Jesus.

Today, something special is happening with young adults in San Diego. They are running after the Lord, hungry for something real and genuine. And they are excited to have an experiential life with Jesus and an active role in building God’s Kingdom.

They are also embracing the call to mission in all their places and spaces.

They are also embracing the call to mission in all their places and spaces. One young adult, Marcus, came up with an outreach called “Jesus Burgers,” where they grill burgers on the street, give them out to people going in and out of the bars, and bless people—no strings attached.

Many of them spend time at Moonlight Beach. Garrett shares that one day they were playing beach volleyball and a guy they didn’t know asked if he could hang out with them. They got to talking and discovered he was in a rough spot. They prayed for him and told him about Jesus. He got baptized right there on the beach and is now part of their community!
