South Asia | Diamond’s Daughters

Diamond was saved at the age of 13 through a youth Bible study, and subsequently led her parents to the Lord. She later led her husband, who was an atheist, to the Lord. Together, they left their jobs to spread the gospel, planting several churches, raising up leaders, and starting a mission organization. Diamond, now in glory, laid the foundation for the mission organization Novo partners with at the heart of gospel movements in her South Asian country.

“Diamond’s Daughters” is a dynamic gospel movement, led by women dedicated to raising and empowering female leaders for the Kingdom of God. Even though half the population are women, there haven’t been many female leaders because no one is training them. Diamond’s Daughters is seeking to change that! They’ve seen that women often excel at starting Bible studies and planting churches once they’ve been trained. In fact, in many households, it is the woman who first embraces Christianity and then influences the family, just as Diamond did many years ago.

Diamond’s Daughters recognizes the need to develop leadership skills among women. They focus on equipping “Master Trainers” who can train others. Because women are not able to travel across the country safely for larger Disciple Making Movement trainings, a significant aspect of this ministry is bringing district-level trainings to them. This ministry now has 32 district teams and is praying to have 50 more district teams successfully launched by the end of 2024!
